A Fine Frenzy is an amazingly unique band! It is actually the face of Alison Sudol (formally Alison Monro) who is a beautifully talented singer, pianist, and is responsible for such inspiring lyrics. In fact, the lyrics are my favorite part about her songs! One Cell In The Sea is the title of the debut album, released in 2007, and is also a line from the song Minnow and the Trout, which is one of my favorite songs.
"Please, I know that we're different, but we were one cell in the sea, in the beginning, and what we're made of, was all the same once."Her music really is beautiful and my ranting about it doesn't at all do it justice! Instead, you can go listen to her music on myspace, or better yet, buy the CD! I even made a Sims 2 video using her song "You Picked Me." All the songs are worth owning. :) (She also has a new album Bomb in a Birdcage I haven't gotten to listen to yet! I'll have to give it a listen, too!)
